These lovely discarded pieces and bits are merging together. More than anything, the history behind these would be fascinating.
The fabrics can somewhat date the projects…..but the most interesting part is the maker….Who? Why? Where? …..let’s compound the historical reference…..I’m converting their history into mine……
Once I combed through the quilt pieces….this is what I selected to iron and re-invent. I feel pretty confident in saying these pieces include 8 different makers. Look how they all work together! This always seem to amaze me. Can’t wait to see how all the friends work together.
All the pieces became this fun art quilt size! I’m still figuring out how to chop, and still see the dominance of the pieced pattern…..but, it looked bright and fun. Now to quilt it…..🤞. This is where I generally start and…………..(disappear)………..(abandonment issues)……….
